This week's CWTs will be special slow-speed versions to celebrate the
latest CW Academy graduating class. Please keep your CW speed under 20 wpm to
encourage new graduates to join in. Try to resist the temptation to
demonstrate your speed demon prowess for this one day; that can be more than a
little off-putting to a newcomer. For those of us in North America, a bit of
slow-speed relaxation might be just what the doctor ordered after the
pressure environment of Sweepstakes.

the exchange. Other non-members send the usual state/province/CW Academy

Please remember to post your scores at 3830scores.com - that's how we
assess how well the program is doing, and it's also how we determine
eligibility for the participation medals. This week's special CWTs count toward the
medals the same as any other CWT. Yes, overall scores will be lower this
week because of the slower speed, but your score is not relevant to the
awards, as long as you make at least 10 QSOs (5 outside North America and
Europe).
