[LCC] Rare Grid Square on 6 Meters through July 2

Hi folks-

A group of hams from Texas and Louisiana is on the air on 6 Meters from
a very rare grid square in Texas.

K5N will be active until July 2 from Big Bend National Park in grid
DL88, right along the border with Mexico. Only a few hundred square
yards of this grid lies in US soil. This is one of the rarest grid
squares in the continental US and is extremely inhospitable. Their
campsite is primitive, no water or facilities for miles, unbelievably
hot, and a threat of smugglers and other illegal folks crossing the
border. This is the first major activation of this grid in over 15
years; the last group that went found it so inhospitable they said they
would never go back.

They will be on 50.150 looking for any takers. Hopefully we'll get an
opening. Work them if you get a chance, as you won't likely hear this
one on again anytime soon.
