[LCC] Next LCC Meeting

	The next meeting of the Louisiana Contest Club will be October 10, at the 
Pineville, LA Hamfest. They have not confirmed which time slot is ours, but 
we are hoping for between 10A and 1P. Watch for a revised message with the 
complete info. If you are planning on attending, please drop me a note at 
k5er at arrl.net. I want to make sure we have enough seats, and I'd really 
like to see a packed house!

	We are pleased to say that Steve, KG5VK, will be presenting a talk on 
"building and optimizing a station for M/2, for domestic contests" . Steve 
has a history of doing well with his large antenna and competitive crew. 
Coming just a few weeks before November Sweepstakes, this should provide an 
incentive for everyone to get active this contest season. Pineville is  the 
most centrally located meeting of the year. While all but one member will 
have some drive, nobody will have to completely cross the state. Hope to 
see everyone at the meeting/forum on the 10th.
