Definitely valid questions.

Based on the number of Louisiana stations that appear in Super Check Partial, the number of "contesters" in Louisiana is approximately 120. Based on logs received for the LAQP, approximated 10% operate in the LAQP.

Marsh, I really liked your initial  comments and agree that many are pulled away from LAQP because of those two contests. I'd sure like to know how many Louisiana stations did BARTG or Russian DX instead of LAQP last year. Sounds like something to research.

Another valid question: How many Louisiana stations contest at all?
