I'm under the impression that the Delta Division today includes Arkansas,
Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee.

Following is the best contact information I can find for the Delta Division
state QSO parties:

Arkansas QP - Sponsored by the Razorback CC - Razorback Contest Club, 3407
Diana St, Springdale, AR 72764, Attn Ralph D Banta K5DB arsk5db at gmail.com
Louisiana QP - Sponsored by the Louisiana Contest Club - LAQP Contest
Chairman Bobby Baker WM5H Robert.Baker at opso.net
Mississippi QP - Sponsored by the Vicksburg ARC - Malcolm Keown, W5XX at
w5xx at vicksburg.com
Tennessee QP - Sponsored by the Tennessee Contest Group - Tennessee QSO
Party Chairman Douglas E Smith W9WI w9wi at gmail.com

Once again, please let me emphasize, if no agreement with Arkansas,
Mississippi, and Tennessee can be reached, we should at the least move the
LAQP to the same weekend as the MSQP or the 7QP.

Scott had tracked down all the links for the ones in the Division. This was
last visited in February of 2009. Definitely time again:

Thanks for your reply. Your input is appreciated.

I agree with you. And if no agreement with Arkansas, Mississippi, and
Tennessee can be reached, we can just move it to the same weekend as the
MSQP or the 7QP.

Marsh, KA5M

It wouldn't be the first time the LCC has approached the surrounding states
and offered to join/form in a multistate contest.. most of the time they
(the other sponsoring clubs) rejected it for one reason or another.

Perhaps it's a good time to try and arrange it again.

A Delta Division QP is a great idea. I was going to suggest having it when
others have it. I remember last year I think I participated in KS, HI and OH
all on the same weekend but it was in August.

I'm never going to give up on getting this fixed.

The current weekend for the LaQP is not a good choice. There are two (2)
major contests that same weekend - the Russian DX Contest and the BARTG.
Both have many ops participating.

There are 52 weekends in a year, and there is no reason not to pick a
weekend without major contests, and that has other state QSO parties going
on.
