ViewProp is free, dxlabs atlas is a twenty something one time registration
fee
the key to getting view prop for free is finding the download
just sign up at the viewprop users group a Yahoo group
then go to their file area and download it

pretty impressive stuff to be able to visually see when and where the bands
are open
based on current solar flux and real time activity on the bands !

launch the software
configure it
10 minutes or less after launching the app
you have several visuals on your screen showing you where the dx is
with freq SNR reports ect
