Fellow Drake enthusiasts,


The Wampler family in Dayton announced today that Hara Arena will close 
its doors on August 27, 2016.  While the local media typically gives 
little to no coverage of Hamvention, the largest event at Hara Arena, it 
is amazing that the demise of the venue gets much broader coverage. 
  Let's hope that an alternate site for Hamvention will be found and 
that the Drake Forum will continue.
