[LCC] Louisiana QSO Party - 2014 - Active?

It was discussed at the Lafayette hamfest meeting about LCC picking up the
sponsorship.  Not sure where that proceeded following the Pineville hamfest.

Back in 2000, when the Twin City Ham Club (W5EA) resurrected the LAQP, it
was held in September.  I don't remember if the 2001 event was also in Sept.
Regardless, in an attempt to increase participate, the TCHC moved it to a
February date.  Participation remained low.  The last year TCHC sponsored
it, we received less than 50 logs.

I think it would be appropriate for the LCC to pick up sponsorship of the LA
QSO Party. However, I think it should be put to a vote. Personally, I never
operated this QSO Party because it always fell on the same weekend as a
major RTTY contest (maybe WPX RTTY in February?). If LCC were to pick up
sponsorship of the LA QSO Party, I think it should be moved to another
weekend.

Does anyone know if the Louisiana QSO Party will be active in 2014? The
2013 sponsors, W5YL, are not sponsoring the contest this coming year.  I
