Fellow LCC members:

I need your help!  Doug Grant K1DG put out a call for speakers on CQ Contest
a few days ago.  I replied that I was willing to speak.  Consequently, Doug
has invited me to speak at the Dayton Hamvention during the Contest Forum.

Doug presented the invitation / topic by asking "Didn't you guys start the
Louisiana Contest Club from scratch a couple of years ago?  How about a talk
about starting a contest club?  I often hear from guys who don't have any
local contesters to hang out with, and starting a contest club is a good way
to fix that."

Here is how you can help:

1.    Provide pictures for the presentation of Louisiana contesters, their
stations, their antenna farms.  I'll be using PowerPoint for the
presentation, so digital pictures would be best.
2.    Provide a "ham biography"  about yourself, especially your
contesting efforts and your efforts to associate with other local
contesters.  Include the approximate number of QSOs you make annually in
contests.
3.    Provide thoughts from your point of view related to the topic Doug
asked me to speak on.
4.    Help me come up with at cool name for the talk.
5.    Other suggestions that I haven't thought of ???

Go LCC !

HI all

I'm looking for input for my Contest Tips, Tricks, & Techniques column for
the March NCJ.

Multi-op Staffing

How do you staff your multi-op efforts? What traits do the operators
possess? How are the operators organized and scheduled? What are the minimum
and optimum number of operators in a multi-multi or multi-single effort?
What do you suggest for an operator hoping to get invited to join a multi-op
group?

Multi-op operators, how did you get involved with your team?

Please reply directly by Friday morning and be sure your call is included in
your response.

Thanks!
