Subject: [CQ-Contest] Louisiana QSO Party This Weekend -- All 64 to be

      Activated

To: CQ Contesting Reflector <cq-contest at contesting.com>

Whether you are looking for some Louisiana parishes to fill in your county
hunter log or just enjoy breaking the pileups on mobiles as they travel
around from county to county (parish to parish in LA) there's a full cup of
gumbo waiting for you this weekend with at least 6 mobiles roving the byways
and bayous of the Pelican state.

KU5B, K5END, N5NA, W3DYA, KB6UF, NO5W, and possibly others will be out and
about with plans to activate the entire slate of 64 parishes. To see details
of these plans point your browser to http://laqp.eqth.net/ where you'll find
parish overlay maps showing whose going where, in what order, and the routes
they will be taking. Several of the stations will also have APRS capability
for your viewing pleasure.

The party starts at 1500 UTC Saturday and runs until 0300 UTC Sunday.

Detailed party rules and guidelines are on the LAQP website at
http://www.qsl.net/kd5wdy/LAQSO_/laqso_.html. Look for us low in the band
(020-030), if the activity from the weekly major RTTY contest is too strong
on the guideline frequencies.

Laissez les bon temps roulez, ya'll. Hope to see you there.

73/Chuck/NO5W
