If you are re-elected, do you promise NOT to raise taxes?

Subject: [LCC] nominations for office

Hey guys, its that time of the year again. Time to think about who
you
want leading YOUR club next year. Because we are so spread out and only
meet 4 times a year, our by-laws allow nominations and voting for officers
via electronic means. Club members who are paid and in good standing may
submit nominations via the club web site, from now until midnight, April
3rd. See: http://www.louisianacontestclub.org/ or n5lcc.com , and look for
the banner near the top.

Following the nomination window, a list of all nominees will be
placed on
the web site, and members will be allowed to vote electronically until
April 22. An election committee will tally all electronic ballots and bring
the report to be combined with LIVE voting held during our meeting at the
Monroe Hamfest on April 24. Each club member gets one vote, either
electronic or live. Winners will be announced immediately.

As your current President, I promise that if I am re-elected, I will
NOT
infringe on your right to have a big antenna or amplifier, and I will NOT
mess with your health insurance, but I WILL promote contesting in our state
and I WILL encourage you to have fun in your hobby.

73,
Mark, K5ER
