for LoTW I think this kind of checking has pretty much gone the way of the Dodo

length one day, sending cards around to legitimate “checkers” can get
expensive. I am certain that I could dig out at least another thousand band-countries
from the file cabinets full of old cards but the time involved is huge and then
you have to go through the checking process. LoTW now offers a good way to get
around this going forward, but it doesn’t help (as Marsh points out) with all
the old cards.<u></u><u></u></span></font></p>

to ARRL LoTW totals, 335 of the current 340 DXCC entities confirmed. Clublog
shows me as having about 280 something. The entities confirmed but not listed
were added to my ARRL records from paper QSL cards submitted to the DXCC desk
long before LoTW existed. At the time they were submitted ARRL did not include
band and mode information in the QSO record data. So, the QSO data for those
entities is not included when I download my stats from LoTW if I wanted to send
them to Clublog.<u></u><u></u></span></font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><font color="blue" face="Verdana"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Verdana;color:blue"><u></u> <u></u></span></font></p>
