I installed my first ever 160M antenna a couple weeks ago and wanted to give it a good<br>test run. It's a W8AMZ reduced 1/2 sloper off my tower at 40'. I ran high power (400w) because I wanted to see how well I could do<br>and how many states/sections I could work. I wanted to work all 48 continental US but missed Wyoming. Besides WY, I missed sections<br>PR, PAC, AK, LAX, SV, EWA, NL, MB, BC, and NT.<br><br>Conditions the first night were excellent with fairly low noise and good signals. The same was not true the second night. I missed<br>four hours the second night.
