I had 274 contacts with 52 multipliers for a total of 14,248 points. My band breakdown was: 15 meters - 7 contacts, 20 meters - 61 contacts, 40 meters -

121 contacts and 80 meters - 85 contacts. I worked each of the LCC team members at least once. These numbers are hand calculated as the software I use (Ham Radio Deluxe w/DM780) doesn't produce them.

Overall I enjoyed the contest a lot. My goal was 300 contacts which I didn't make. The QRM was terrible starting out on 20 meters due to the other contest which made it almost impossible to find a slot to run without stepping on someone else so I did mostly S&P on that band. Once I moved to

40 meters my rate picked up because I could find a run frequency pretty easily and it was the same for 80 meters. The noise on 80 meters was pretty bad and I had some difficulty copying the calls and the exchanges. I also got pretty tired towards the end of the contest, but being a member of the team kept me pushing on. I'm sure I had a few blown calls and/or exchanges towards the end.

I probably won't have access to email for the next week because I'm heading to Franklinton, LA tomorrow morning to check on my winter home in EM40uv. I hope to hook up with Dallas, K1DW while I'm there. If any of you are close by Tuesday afternoon through Thursday, give me a call at 330-936-2192 and perhaps we can have a quick eyeball.

Overall I really enjoyed participating in the contest as part of the Louisiana Contest Club.
