Wow....And I thought Scott and I were competitive about things. Guys, since I
am about to tear down everything outside and erect two towers and stacks, PLUS
some type of RX antenna, I don't foresee the purchase of a new rig in the near
future. However, if either was inclined to DONATE a K3 or MP, or both, I would
be happy to do a long term test and comparison, and give you my results in a
year or two. Just saying...<br>

state….” describes the use of K3s by a majority of participants in
the WRTC2010 competition.  The rest of the story is that 3 of the 5 top
WRTC2010 teams used FT-1000MPs.<br>

bold'>My point to Mark using Icom 756 Pro II's was simple.  Your antenna
system only gets you so far. Admittedly a long way. The Elecraft K3 is a great
radio for pulling out weak signals or signals that are near the noise level or
close in working with crowded bands during contests.  You need a great
receiver to do that and the K3 has one of the best.<br>
