[LCC] Anyone successfully made QSO with 3Y0J yet?

Yes, an ATNO for me. I've been waiting since 1990 for another chance to work Bouvet.

In 1990 I had an analog Ten-Tec Triton IV with one VFO. I could not work split. Antenna was a G5RV up 35 feet. They were loud on 10M CW.

>>What antenna? A Log Periodic up 70 feet at KG5VK

>>Long path or short path? Long Path - antenna pointed to 315 degrees

>>How much power? 1500W RF Power Out

>>CW speed? About 26 WPM

>>Split - what were the DX TX and RCV frequencies? TX 18.072.00, RX 18.077.05

I searched on the Spectrum Scope / Waterfall to find a clear TX frequency.

I was sitting at my kitchen breakfast table using KG5VK's Mac laptop, connected over the Internet to his Flex Radio in TX.

KG5VK is a friend indeed!

Marsh,

Congrats! Glad to know you got that one. I presume it is ATNO for you?

Some questions to help the rest of us mere mortals!

What antenna?
Long path or short path?
How much power?
CW speed?
Split - what were the DX TX and RCV frequencies?
