I received this request from Stan to forward to the LCC. Here is an
opportunity to engage in constructive dialog!
Please post your suggestions here on the LCC reflector, and I'll compile
and forward a single list to Stan in about 10 days.

Good morning.
As you are probably aware the ARRL CAC has not been very effective for
many, many years. There has always been a lot of red tape and even when
given the opportunity to weigh in on subjects, the consensus of the CAC
has been largely ignored.
Well, we now have some new directors who have taken an interest in
making the CAC an effective tool for improvements in ARRL contests.
I am sending this email to this group initially and asking that you
gather some suggestions for changes in ARRL contests that could be put
on a list and prioritized by the CAC along with suggestions from others
from other divisions.
If you are in a contest club and can ask others that would be great. I
am hopeful that you will see some improvements under this newly
rejuvenated group. Ideas to interest more operators in contesting,
particularly younger ones, are of particular interest for the long term
future but rules changes and other ideas are equally important.
The next Zoom meeting of the CAC will be in about two weeks and
hopefully you can give some thought to ideas that you would like to be
considered.
Thanks and 73... Stan, K5GO (ZF9CW until April)
