Comments:

No time for this one so I concentrated on just trying to work a BY on 40
meters
since I had never been successful in getting a confirmation for China on
that
band. I heard only BY4DX on Saturday morning but the signal was just too
weak.
Signals were better Sunday morning despite local thunderstorms. Not only did
I
work BY4DX 15 minutes before sunrise, I also worked BA7IO 15 minutes after
sunrise and it was through rain static. I really didn't know the if the
contact
was good or not but I logged it anyway.

To my surprise, BA7IO confirmed via LotW immediately after the contest and I
finally had China confirmed on 40 meters after 48 years of trying. It's #330
current on 40 meters. They are hard to come by now, so when you get one, it
feels oh so good.
