[LCC] Real-time / near real-time DX spot alerts ??

Look into AA6YQ's DXLab Suite. It's a free logging system and the program
"Spot Collector" (which handles cluster spots) can send out sms messages and
alerts as well as announce them in the shack. I know that if you use the
entire suite of programs, ie: DxKeeper as your main logging program, Spot
collector will sift through all of the spots that come down from the cluster
and send alerts on the ones you "need". I haven't looked to see if you can
specifically program it to only send you certain ones manually picked or
only those based on DXKeeper.

You can pick and choose which programs you want to use without installing
the suite if one of them fits your needs.. but of course they all work
together if you use the entire suite. Its very powerful and was the first
one that I switched to when N3FJP's ACLog just couldn't handle the amount of
q's I was dumping into it after a contest. And of course, it fits the hams
bill, its free.

Got any recommendations for setting up alerts for Real-time / near real-time
DX spot alerts, especially if they will SMS/text you?

I found HamAlert.org - but I never receive the email to verify my account
setup.
