There is no “problem” with 373 DXCC Entities confirmed! It shows you have remained interested in working DX over time.

Yes, the problem is that the 373 includes 34 deleted entities and they are now impossible to get.
I did miss one country that I knew was going to be deleted …. Saar … and I just never could catch one of them. About 2 or 3 weeks after the official act of deletion I did work one, but it was too late.
The only way anyone could have those (and a few others that had been deleted years earlier) is to be old and also to have been chasing DX and a fairly young age.
That is why Rick can’t ever catch me. He missed a few of the old ones. I just want to live long enough to get DPRK.

Thanks for all the info.
I have 373 and still need Rocket Man (P5), which may entail a long wait.
I am just concentrating on band-countries right now.
The latest thoughts from the LOTW e-mail list appear to be that ARRL's LOTW
is only used by about 25% of all DXers world-wide. Also, DXCC is falling
way down on the "interest" scale. Hard to believe, but these appear to be
the facts.
ARRL needs to really work hard at revamping LOTW. I have been corresponding
with AA6YQ (LOTW developer-type) and here were our parting words last night:
Me: Rick (ARRL President) is certainly a quality DXer so maybe he will be
able to help make some changes.
AA6YQ: The removal of all developers from LoTW in 2018 was done on his
watch.
