Deep Dixie CC members and guests—  


During recent weeks, you have probably read and heard a great deal about  
the furor being created by the ARRL HQ leadership and the Board of Directors. 
 Of specific interest is the action that is being proposed for the 19  
January Board meeting.


Many hams have written letters to Directors, etc.  Many Internet  posts 
have been made.  However, time for talk, alone, seems to have come  to an end.  
Therefore,…


Just this morning, I am informed about a PAC that has been formed among  
long-time, influential ARRL members who are “fed up” with what is being  
considered.  A path for more definitive action has been defined and  outlined.

I am quite well aware that we don’t all agree on every topic.  To  me, that’
s okay.  I consider that a free, democratic society.  However, with so much 
conversation in the air right now, it seems  prudent for each of us to be 
as informed as possible.


And, since so many of the premier amateur radio clubs in the US are  
involved in this movement, I felt that Deep Dixie CC members and friends  should
