[LCC] Sponsoring Delton Dickson, KF5GDK, for The Crossmen

Our son Delton Dickson, KF5GDK, has auditioned for and been awarded a 
position on the Crossmen Drum Corps based in San Antonio, a perennial 
Drum Corps International (DCI) World Championship Finalist. Although his 
primary instrument is the trombone, his will be playing the euphonium 
for the Crossmen.

This opportunity includes 8 weeks of touring and 35 performances across 
the United States.

Delton has already raised $1,760 of the needed $4,050 for his member 
fees, which cover the costs of instruction, nutrition, transportation, 
equipment and uniforms.

As he served a 2-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of 
Latter-day Saints immediately after high school and began full-time 
college at the University of Louisiana at Monroe (studying music 
education) the day after his return, he has had little opportunity to 
earn the full amount of the fees necessary to participate in the 
Crossmen.
