Steve,

I'm running a 90' top loaded vertical in a hay field on a ridge crest. An East - West Beverage, a NE Beverage and a NW Beverage. I also have a 4 square RCV array and a set of K9AY loops.

Wowza !

So1ws answered your CQ on 160 meters !!

remind us what you are using on 160m, please

that is indeed cool

I had fun playing in my new shack

the 8 element sterba curtain array made things much more fun

even though conditions were really bad

the east coast guys usually have well over 5 thousand q's in the arrl dx contests

the Q rates for K3LR and K8AZ were like half the normal

cheers!

steve

Cool Steve,

Just played on 160m myself with the AR State Convention Saturday and lots of noise and a hard drive crash Friday night, and QRN Sunday AM.

Only 78 QSO's but 32 Countries worked with S01WS answering a CQ! Wow!

This was about half of my CW score two weeks ago but I never claimed to be a phone guy... It was fun anyway.
