When is it? I think it was moved to the same weekend as a major RTTY contest. I wasn't able to operate it last year.

LCC,

I played from K8AZ.

====================

Thanks to a fun crew of great guys, this contest was enormous fun despite
what likely was the worst contest radio conditions since operations began
here in 1985. But we still had a blast.

Many thanks for those who made long drives (especially W5WZ and N8AA) to
make it here for the weekend.

Thanks to Dave, W9PA for AR Cluster and radio computer upgrades and
monitoring, and to Greg, W8WWV, for ever-present technical advice. 73, Tom,
K8AZ

Results are below.

Good news. Even though it takes place during the BARTG RTTY Contest, I'll still be able to operate some. I'll be doing BARTG as part of a remote multi-op from W4AAW using the calling W4TMO.

Don,

I would love to hear more about this remote Multi OPS contesting a few
questions follow below...

I love operating as a group
the camaraderie is just one of the really neat dynamics in multi-op

do you guys use a central server in the cloud which is hosting N1MM+ or
something along those lines ?

what are some of the challenges, esp those that were unforeseen ?

how many contest sponsors allow such an entry ?

I bet we are going to see a lot more groups headed this direction of
"Virtual Multi OP"

Love to see a presentation on this Topic !!!

cheers!
Steve

David

Wowza !

So1ws answered your CQ on 160 meters !!

remind us what you are using on 160m, please

that is indeed cool
I had fun playing in my new shack
the 8 element sterba curtain array made things much more fun

even though conditions were really bad
the east coast guys usually have well over 5 thousand q's in the arrl dx
contests
the Q rates for K3LR and K8AZ were like half the normal

cheers!
