Agree Steve with all you have said!

A wonderful thing happens when you upload too, you will get an email reply
saying all qso's in upload were ok or you will get a list of qso's that you
need to correct in your log. I get mostly corrections for DX entities, that
my logging program miss stated. The French call signs are the worst. Hi! So
I encourage others to join. As Steve said it is free and gives plenty of
info.

clublog

here is the current list of LCC members
that are signed up with clublog.org (which is FREE)

Note about hidden calls

Any callsigns in light purple are hidden from leagues; usually, due to being
inactive for 12 months or more, but possibly by choice of the callsign's
owner. For more information click

es/53209-why-is-my-callsign-hidden-from-the-leagues-or-log-search-tools->
here.

We have 14 members that have joined the LACC league

However only 11 of the above are considered active in the league

If we could have 15 active members it would help those of us that are active
be able to use

the clublog Club League tables (data sets)

So what is in it for you ?

First if you have never looked at clublog.org I encourage you to do so IF
you are at all interested in DXCC or other awards from working HF

or if you want or care about knowing your stats

That is exactly what clublog.org provides us all

stats, and very precise stats and much more

Like a real time DXcluster only showing your needs and the propagation for
your qth
based on what DXCC entities you have worked or confirmed

but it can only do this if you are a clublog member AND you have uploaded
your QSO data to clublog.org

You will note in the chart above several members are considered in-active
(callsign in the chart is blue)

which simply means this member has not uploaded any of their QSO data within
the last 12 months

So how do you upload data, easy once a clublog.org member (again this is
FREE)

at the top of the page after logging in to clublog you click on upload

choose your logs adif file and click upload

Here is a snap shot of my QSL chart selected for just the 80m band

and this is just a portion of the data this chart produced to give you an
idea........

So if it is giving me that much data now, why do I want more of our LCC
members to join......

Would it be nice if I could compare my stats against others in our own club
?

I think so, after all are we not a contest club, lets challenge each other
to do better

Better how.....

More active in chasing and catching DXCC entities etc

what the heck does DXCC have to do with contesting ?

Well for me they are very entwined - the more DX contest I work the more
chances I have of increasing my DXCC totals

But remember clublog has much more to offer you, yes - YOU !

Here is a snippet from the clublog.org page "About ClubLog"

About Club Log

Introduction by Michael G7VJR

Club Log is a web-based application that analyses log files from radio
amateurs all over the world.

Using the logs, Club Log offers you a wide range of reports for your own
benefit,
and identifies large scale trends from the sum of all activity in the
database.

If you participate in Club Log by uploading your log you will receive:

*	Personal DXCC reports and league tables

*	Detailed analysis of your log, using researched DXCC information

*	Zone charts for your log, again based on detailed research

*	A personal timeline of your activity (DXCCs per year, band and mode
info)

*	Your own log search tool, eg. to link from your web page or QRZ
profile

*	A filtered DX Cluster which only tells you about DX you still 'need'

*	A say in the Club Log most wanted report: your log is part of the
trend data

*	Access to propagation and activity predictions, using everyone's
logs

*	QSL suggestions to help you send out just the cards you need

*	OQRS (Online QSL Requests) to make direct and bureau QSLing faster
and easier

*	Satisfaction from taking part in and improving a free DXing
resource.

In November 2014, Club Log received the prestigious Al Slater G3FXB Memorial
Award from <http://g4foc.org/news/3146252> FOC,
and in 2012 the Yasme <http://www.yasme.org> Foundation made a special
grant for equipment costs to Club Log.
The service continues to grow in scope every year!

Club Log Needs Your Input

One of the driving principles of Club Log is to store as many QSOs as
possible, as this makes the reports and statistics more meaningful and
representative. Everything in Club Log depends upon analysing real QSOs, and
for this reason I am very grateful to everyone who participates.

If you have not joined yet, I warmly invite you to sign up
<https://secure.clublog.org/signup.php> and join the action! It is
completely free. Club Log needs more participants from North America at the
moment, in particular.

Hints and Tips

As Club Log has evolved, some questions have come up more often than others.
If you would like to read some short tips and instructions, integrate Club
Log into your own web pages or software, or would like a more detailed
understanding about how Club Log works, please read the documentation
<https://secure.clublog.org/docs> .

In closing, I want to say that yes I could join other club leagues like the
Lone Star DX Association

which of course has many active clublog members, but I want to play with
this within my circle of friends

(those that are members of The Louisiana Contest Club)

If we could get 4 more active members

In other words join cluglog.org AND up load their adif log file

then we would all reap all the benifits of clublog that exist.

Mark K5ER and Myself manage the membership request within ClugLog.org LACC
club league

if you need any help

I will be glad to assist in any way.

joining clublog.org takes just a few minutes and is FREE,

then upload your log in ADIF form at least once a year

cheers!

steve
