[LCC] Interesting use of technology to create panadapters

Art, I have the Flex 6300, but I have used Charlie's Yaesu for contesting at
Charles K5UA using the panadapter. Works great! It is particular good when
working CW and RTTY!

When working a rare DX, whether on CW, SSB or RTTY the panadapter will show
where someone is responding to the DX. It is literally like shooting fish in
a barrel. It is way too easy! Recently when I was working as W1AW/5 on RTTY,
I could tell which stations had to be using a panadapter because they would
come back to me on the exact same frequency the station I just worked was
on. I would work another further up on frequency and they would follow!
Eventually I would work them, LOL! I had a great time!

Have fun! Merry Christmas!

BTW: Flex Radio will be at the Acadiana Hamfest in March, so you can see for
yourself how good these radios NOW are.

Then pipe this into NaP3 which people are using with Lp-Pan.

NaP3 will follow the CAT control of the rig as well as display all of the
calls from the cluster. The Softrock just replaces the LP-Pan receiver for
a bit less of a price. I have it running on a 7" monitor that sits right
on top of the rig. Great enhancement to your station.
