Congrats Art! Yes, these things do happen. I got into the ARRL VHF contest a couple years ago when HF conditions were too poor
during a RTTY contesting and ended up with a certificate!

Great stuff. You just never know.

Well fellow LLC members, yours truly, while playing around on 80 meters CW during the ARRL CW DX Contest (in hopes of filling my 100

I got home from the shop today, had a large envelope in the mail from ARRL HQ which enclosed my certificate for FIRST PLACE, La
Section Single Operator, Unlimited, High Power.

Wonders never cease.

I have now been totally bitten by the contest bug.
