[LCC] remaining meetings for 2013?

Hi Folks,
         We missed many of you at the Monroe Hamfest, but we had a great 
time and talked about some who weren't there. We have two remaining 
meetings for 2013, but due to low turnout, we tabled choosing the location 
/ time in order to get input from a larger number of members. Almost any 
weekend already has something going on. Its just a matter of which weekends 
give the most club members the opportunity to travel to a meeting. Our most 
obvious choices are:

Slidell, July 20, but conflicts with NAQP RTTY,
Leesville, August 10, conflicts with WAE CW,
Pineville, usually 1st Saturday in October (Oct 5, 2013), conflict with 
Oceania DX phone and California QSO party.
Minden (in December, usually 1st or 2nd weekend, but not sure of date at 
this time). We have never asked them to give us space, but may be early 
enough to try.

Personally, I believe that Pineville is the most centrally located, and one 
that virtually every club member should try to attend. So, this is YOUR 
club. Think about which hamfests / LCC meetings you would like to attend 
and let us know your preference - choose TWO in order of preference. Feel 
free to include any comments that drive your decision. Rather than tie up 
the reflector with the HUNDREDS...make that DOZENS...well, the 10-15 
responses that we are sure to get, just reply to me directly to 
k5er at arrl.net, and I'll compile the numbers and send it to the board for 
the final approval. The dates chosen will be posted on the club web site, 
and also here on the reflector.
