Don, looking at the picture, it seems that the fiberglass pole dislodged the
holder. The clamp may have been loose or broke off, but in case it can
easily be repaired. The other stuff hanging provides no antenna performance
and Steppir does not think it will provide high wind strength for loop. I
don't you those ties to boom on my 4 el SteppIR with 40-30m loop and we have
had from time to time 60-80 mph winds here (Non-hurricane winds). Good luck
