[LCC] Contest Plaque Sponsorship Opportunities

LCC Members:

 

At our last meeting (Slidell hamfest last Saturday) a motion carried to
accept the budget for next fiscal year.  In that budget was an increase in
spending to sponsor plaques for contest winners.  Following approval of the
budget, a motion was made by KN5O, seconded by AD5W for LCC to pursue
sponsoring contest plaque(s) in the ARRL DX CW / SSB / RTTY contests.  The
motion carried.

 

Consequently, LCC has to sponsor additional plaques.

 

I offer these suggestions.  Each ARRL plaque costs $75 annually.  LCC has a
budget of $400 for this fiscal year.  We are already committed for $100 to
CQ plaques.  We have $300 remaining from now until June 30, 2012.
Therefore, we can sponsor up to 4 ARRL plaques.
