[LCC] low band antenna experience

Have that contester call Don Hill AA5AU who has nothing but a tribander a
vertical and some wires and has been winning the ARRL Rtty Roundup Low power
for the past like 15 years.
Antennas are nice, but agreed, it takes a good operator, which Don's CQWW
Hall of Fame Membership most certainly proves.

I had a contester tell me once that nobody with a 3 element tri-bander at 50
feet could WIN a contest. I agree. I also say that even if you are the
loudest station on the air in order to WIN a contest you still need to hear
all the 3 element tri-banders on the air. QSO's mean points. You aren't
going to do that with a good receiver. You need the best receiver to back
up that loud voice. If you truely want to WIN.
