Steve, I heard back from Randy with a thanks, but never from Doug with a
confirmation!  I don't know if we're up for the one I requested or not, he
never replied.

Thanks to all who stepped up to offer sponsorships for WPX CW plaques.

There are only three left from the original list:

- World 21 MHz
- High score in Africa
- USA 3.5 MHz

If you are interested in sponsoring any of these, please let me know
ASAP off-list.

Sponsorships cost $50 per plaque per year, and these sponsorships will
begin with the 2008 contest (yes, the contest is over, but the final
results are not published yet..).

I know we had discussed this subject a littel (sponsoring plaques) at the

How would you feel to win world high in a major contest and not get a plaque
for your wall?

I am putting the finishing touches on the CQ WPX CW results (to appear in
February 2009 CQ Magazine).  I notice there are a number of high profile
categories that do not have plaques sponsored.  If you are interested and
can make arrangements with Doug, K1DG, by December 15, I can still include
your plaque in the magazine results (and you can make some worthy contester
very happy).  Cost of donating a plaque is $50 and can be paid by Paypal.
